“Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.” Colossians 3:2-3

Focus on Things Above and Eternity

With all the trouble in this world and in my life I often find it hard to focus on the things above. Even the little things in life that get in the way can often bother me. At those times of frustration I need to gain a more heavenly perspective.

How much better is life when we focus on what Jesus gives us in eternity. As the old hymn “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” says, “The things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.” Amen.
