James 1:9-10 and Dried Sunflowers Covered with Snow, Bellevue, Nebraska.
“The brother in humble circumstances should exult in his high position. But the one who is rich should exult in his low position, because he will pass away like a flower of the field.” James 1:9-10
All Things Fade Away
Money does not stay in our hands forever. No matter how much of it we hold on to when we live, we no longer hold any of it the moment after we take our last breath.
Why do people cling to something that does not last? A life built on money will fade away. Seek the things of God. The things of God never fade away.
James 1 remind us that it is far better to exult in the things of God than in wealth. Money is a tool to be used for God’s purposes. If we don’t use what is given to us to further the Kingdom of God, we waste it.
Read all of James 1 and be encouraged to live a godly life.
