The Eye Witness Visual Experience Bible

The Eyewitness: The Visual Bible Experience Bible is a picture Bible design for adults. I was asked to review it and to tell my readers about it. 

The artwork is outstanding and the Bible stories are told through the eyes of biblical characters. It’s not Scripture, but based on Scripture. It gives the reader insight into what the minds, hearts and emotions of the biblical characters may have been thinking and feeling. I find it to be like the television series “The Chosen”, but only in a picture Bible.

The book does take some poetic license in making the biblical characters come alive. I believe poetic license is necessary to draw the reader into the book, though I don’t always agree with theology of the poetic license in the book. That said, I still think the artwork is exquisite and the stories are very compelling. And as a Christian visual artist, I desire to promote the work of other Christian visual artist.

You may want to check it out as a Christmas gift idea or something you would simply put on your own coffee table. It would be a great book to use in stirring up spiritual conversations
