Psalm 103:21-22 and Mountains Reflect in Middle Cathedral Lake, Wind River Wilderness, Wyoming.
“Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, you who serve Him, doing His will. Bless the LORD, all you works of His, in all places of His dominion; Bless the LORD, O my soul!” Psalm 103:21-22
The “Works of His” Reveal Him
The Bible calls all of God’s Work to bless the Lord. As one of His works, nature blesses God by revealing aspects of His attributes. Today’s modern culture disconnects us from nature. Our disconnection from nature makes it difficult for us to see God’s Attributes there.
We need to get outside more and experience the creation in such a way that can teach us something personable about God, but that takes time. But when we do spend time in the outdoors, the creation speaks to our hearts about God.
Bringing along a Bible or journal to the outdoors makes for a great way to experience God.
