Why do the Nations Rage?

Psalm 2:1-2, 4 and the Mummy Mountain Range Above Horseshoe Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. The Mummy Mountain Range Above Horseshoe Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado and Bible versePsalm 2:1-2, 4 the nations rage

“Why are the nations in an uproar, and the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against the LORD and against His Anointed… He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them.” Psalm 2:1-2, 4

The Nations Rage, but God rules

See the tiny cars on the road below the mountains in this photo? They make for a great metaphor of how the nations compare to God’s endless power.

The nations rage and the rulers of this world plot, scheme and proclaim their power. With pride the world’s rulers say, “My nation is superior and yours inferior.” But God laughs at them all and says, “How silly you act. I control the universe. Submit to Me now or you will submit to Me later.”

Praise our God who rules and reigns!
