Job 37:9b-10 with Trees Covered in Snow, Seymour Smith Park, Nebraska.
“And out of the north comes the cold. From the breath of God ice is made and the expanse of the waters is frozen.” Job 37:9b-10
The North’s Cold and God’s Control
As a nature photographer I get to feel and experience God’s power in the outdoors. There is nothing that God does not control. The Bible proclaims God is even sovereign over the weather.
The book of Job uses poetic imagery from nature to give us pictures of God’s power and other attributes. “From the breath of God ice is made”, represents one example of that imagery. You can read more poetic Illustrations of God’s greatness in Job 37.
