Matthew 7:13, 14 and a Foot Bridge, Platte River State Park Nebraska.
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13, 14
Help Bring Others to the Narrow Gate
Most people don’t enter the gate that crosses the bridge to life in Christ. The world offers too many temptations that look too good. From false religions to no religion, the idea of living our life our way sounds more enticing than living God’s way.
No one ever crosses the bridge to God alone. We all need help to find it. Ultimately, God does the work to draw someone to Himself, but He calls us to do our part. By sharing God’s love, faithfully living a life dedicated to Him and by praying, God can use us to help bring others to the narrow gate to find life in Him.
May we all do our part to help others find and cross the narrow way to life. Read all of Matthew 7.
