Psalm 32:7 and Tall Trees Covered with Snow Sarpy County, Nebraska.
“You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.” Psalm 32:7
My Savior and My Hiding Place
Scholars believe King David wrote this song after his sin with Bathsheba was pointed out to him by the prophet Nathan. The psalm starts out with the words, “How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, who sin is covered!”
God covers and forgives the sins of those who repent. He makes the sinner white as snow. Not only does God forgive us of our sins when we repent, He offers a shelter from those who would call out our sin against us.
When the sins of our past come after us to haunt us, we can run to God to find a hiding place from our accusers.
PS
Read all of Psalm 32, and here is a video I took the snowy morning I photograph these trees.
