“From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day.” Matthew 16:21
Consider His Death and Resurrection
Over the next seven days we remember the most critical days in all of human history. The most important two events of all time happened in those seven days.
Almost 2,000 years ago Jesus told His disciples that He was headed to Jerusalem to die, and not only to die, but to be raised to life on the third day. His death and resurrection changed the world forever. And even though His disciples had no idea what He was talking about, it was they, who with changed lives, spread the word of the lordship and salvation of Jesus Christ.
This week take a heartful look at the last week of Jesus’ earthly life and consider the meaning of the agony of His crucifixion and the glory of His Resurrection. Consider what these events mean to you as well, and let Him change your life.
