God’s Light and Truth Lead to Eternity

Psalm 43 is a continuation of Psalm 42. The writer of the two Psalms lived in exile and longed for the destroyed Solomon’s temple that once existed in Jerusalem. Both psalms contain the passage, “Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him for the salvation of His presence.”

The Bible calls us all too put our hope in God. May we do that and also long for His light and truth to guide us. For God’s Light and His holy truth lead us to His eternal dwelling places.
