Guest Post by Sydney Michalski: 2 Corinthians 4:6 and Common Tansy overlooking Tibbet Island, Maine.
“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (NKJV).” Corinthians 4:6
Our Hope is in God’s Glory and Light
One of my favorite things about a gray day is the way some colors in the landscape seem to glow with a light of their own!
On a sunny day, everything is bright and cheerful and vibrant. But when the fog settles in or the light dims, certain colors seem to blaze forth even more brilliantly by contrast.
In this world, dark times may sometimes swirl in…And in these times, our hope in God’s glory and our certainty in His victory shine even more brightly.
Whether in the wide landscape of God’s creation or the inner landscape of our own hearts, ours is the God who commands light out of darkness!
Read all of 2 Corinthians 4.
