May God’s Face Shine on You

Amen. Oh, what a beautiful prayer. What better things can we ask for and what better gifts can we receive than to have God bless us and keep us and be gracious to us and to lift up His countenance on us?

Each one of these is wonderful, but I really like the word picture of having God’s face shine on us. In my mind it creates a picture of God’s goodness and favor being poured out upon us.

May God’s face beam down on us like the sun. I pray the precious thoughts of these three verses keep with you throughout the Day.
