Isaiah 40:12-13a and Mount Moran From the Ox Bow Bend, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming.
“Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, and marked off the heavens by the span, and calculated the dust of the earth by the measure, and weighed the mountains in a balance and the hills in a pair of scales? Who can fathom the Spirit of the Lord?” Isaiah 40:12-13
Nature Declares God is Great!
Surely the creation’s majesty declares the greatness of God. As tiny humans, we stand in awe of the grand things in nature, but yet even they are miniscule before the Lord.
The Bible metaphorically states that God measured the deepest waters with the palm of His hands. This is not meant to tell us that God is some super size giant, but that He is supreme above all else. Nothing compares to the greatness and power of God. Even the mightiest mountain is like dust in the wind to God.
God is great! Amen.
Read all of Isaiah 40 and praise God.
