Give Thanks for God’s Love

There are many reasons to give thanks to God. We thank God for family and friends, the home He gives us and I like to thank Him for the beauty of His creation. But I also need to thank Him for dirty laundry and dirty dishes. Dirty laundry means my family and I have clothes and dirty dishes means we ate some good food.

Above all, the most important thing to be thankful for is God’s love. For by His love for us He gives us family, friends, clothes, food, shelter and the beauty of His creation. But even greater than all these is that by His love He gives us mercy, grace and the gift of His salvation. These gifts alone are reason to give great thanks to God.
