Revelation 5:12-13 and Blueberry Blossoms, Bellevue, Nebraska.
“‘Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!’ And I heard every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: ‘To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!’” Revelation 5:12-13
Jesus, the Lamb, Forever Glorified
No other story compares. The tales of Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism or any other isms do not come close to the richness of the greatest story ever told.
The Christian faith tells of how God came down to live as a man so He could save humankind from our sin. He died on a cross as the only pure and perfect sacrifice. Then He rose from the dead to rule as King of Kings. He reigns forever glorified, forever lifted high and forever alive!
So why blueberry blossoms for this verse? They’re simply, beautiful and pure. They sparkle in the morning light and they show how God’s glory shines through even the smallest bit of His creation. Their voice sings with all creation, “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!”
