Proverbs 14:2 and a Young Tiger.

“He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord, But he who is devious in his ways despises Him.” Proverbs 14:2

Walk in Fear of the Lord

When I look at the tiger in this photograph I think of a few things. I think of fear because we fear tigers, and that reminds me that God calls us to fear Him. I also think of how the tiger walks in strength and confidence, and that God calls us to walk with Him in the same manner.

Fear of God and walking with confidence are related. When we fear the Lord we live in deep respect and reverence of Him and His holiness. In our fear of God we live our lives as He calls us to. When we do that we can walk like a tiger with bold confidence knowing that Go walks with us and makes us strong in Him.
