Every Leaf Of Springtime and the Resurrection

1 Corinthians 15:20-22 and Trees Full of Spring Leaves, Bellevue, Nebraska. Trees filled with new green leaves in spring. First Corinthians 15:20–22 Bible verse of the day Every Leaf Of Springtime

“But the fact is, Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. For since by a man death came, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:20-22

God’s Promise in Springtime

I used this quote before, but I’d like to use it again. Martin Luther wrote, “Our Lord has written the promise of resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in springtime.” I like the quote because I find it to be profound and true.

I walked in this forest the week before I took this photo. At that time it still looked mostly brown with only a bit of green, but less than 10 days later it looked full of life. Through the wonder of spring, God brought a resurrection to the land!

Spring’s resurrection serves as a reminder to those who believe. It reminds us that God promises His children that they will not remain in the grave. He will resurrect us to eternal life with Him.

I made a short video about this quote and this photo. You can see it on Rumble.com.
