Stewards of the Earth on Earth Day

Today, many people around the world celebrate Earth Day. Our focus ought not to be on the creation, but on the Creator. Because the Earth belongs to God we need care for it as we use it.

The Earth and Nature exist as part of God’s creation.  No one should ever consider the earth nor anything in creation divine or as something to be highly revered or worshipped. Even though creation itself is not divine we do need to remember it all belongs to God and we should treat it as such.
