“Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews 10:22
Because of Christ We can Draw Near to God
In the Old Testament, the people could not enter the presence of God. Only the priests were allowed to enter the inner sanctuaries of the Hebrew Temple. There, the priest would offer sacrifices to God.
The book of Hebrews tells us that system is gone. Through Christ’s supreme sacrifice, God made believers washed and pure. Now all believers can freely come before God and God calls us to draw near to Him. He wants us to connect with Him.
My favorite place to draw near to God is in the outdoors. But I can’t always be there and probably neither can you. So it’s my hope that through my photography I can help you better connect with God and draw near to Him.
PS
My new devotional is titled Drawing Near. I have some big news coming out soon! Please keep the book production in your prayers.
