“He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs; who can stand before his cold?”  Psalm 147:17 (ESV)

Crystals of Cold to Warmth and Restoration

Psalm 147 praises God for the restoration that He brings. Verses 8-18 declare His control over the weather and that He uses it for His purposes. Verse 17 reminds us He commands the cold to come, but verse 18 states that in the spring, “He sends forth His word and melts them.”

God brings restoration to the land and just like He restores the land He restores those who follow Him. One day we shall live in a perfect paradise with Him.
