Matthew 27:22-23 and a Hammer and Nails on Cross and a Crown of Thorns.

“Pilate said to them, ‘Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?’ They all said, ‘Crucify Him!’  And he said, ‘Why, what evil has He done?’ But they kept shouting all the more, saying, ‘Crucify Him!’” Matthew 27:22-23

They Rejected Him and Shouted, “Crucify Him!”

Two thousand years ago the Jewish leaders and their followers made their choice. They rejected Jesus, the one whom they had been waiting over a 1,000 years for.

Their scriptures spoke all about Jesus, but they chose not to know Him. Instead they gave Him over to those they hated and asked them to crucify Him. And Jesus, the Son of God, was then Crucified by Heathen Gentiles.

As result of His crucifixion, people today are still given a choice, they can reject or follow Jesus. It doesn’t matter if one is of Jewish linage or Gentile linage, anyone can believe and follow Him. Praise God!
