Clothed with a Cloak of Light

In Psalm 104 we find a very poetic description of the God of creation. The writer uses the elegant beauty of a sunset (or sunrise) to describe the wonder of God.

The beauty we see in a sunset sky calls us to the beauty of our God clothed with a cloak of light. John Eldredge says it so wonderfully when he writes in the The Sacred Romance, “The beauty that so captures our hearts and is so fleeting draw us towards an eternal reality.”

There is no greater reality than God.
