Christ The Lord

Snow covered farm field, Eastern Nebraska and Luke: 2:10-12.Blue sky and snow covered soybean field in Eastern Nebraska. Christmas Bible verse of the day Luke 2:10-12. Christ the Lord and come all ye faithful

“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. ‘This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.’” Luke: 2:10-12.

Celebrate Christ the Lord

The birth of Christ, along with the day of His crucifixion and the day of His resurrection, is one of the most significant days in world history. For centuries we have marked our calendars by it. Modern secularism have attempted to change that by foolishly changing BC to BCE and AD to CE, but the reality remains the same. We mark our calendars by the coming of Christ.

In a few short days we will celebrate His birth. And may we celebrate and proclaim Christ as Lord just as the angels did.

“All Hail! Lord, we greet Thee,
Born this happy morning,
O Jesus! for evermore be Thy name adored.
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.”

“O Come All Ye Faithful,” third verse
