“Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.” Psalm 51:1-2
Wash Me with Your Forgiveness
We find beauty in nature’s purity. This photograph of a mountain stream displays some of that purity and beauty. King David wrote Psalm 51 after the prophet Nathan confronted him on his his adultery with Bathsheba and for murdering her husband Uriah. David’s sins made His soul dirty and ugly, but when he truly repented, God forgave Him. God will forgive you too. Confess your sins to Him and He will wash you and make you more pure than a mountain stream.
