  1. Love this verse, saw this on a card once and gave it to a new friend, she said she understood the message.

  2. This is a cool site! I signed up for he Bible Project Bible in a year thing on You Version and I’ll continue to read the bible again with them. I did read the Bible in One Year with HTB Church a couple years ago. It took me 16 months. I was looking for something extra. I’m old and solitary and think the Catholic church must be my way to go. I’m gay but observant. I’ve been to many Protestant churches that don’t like the creeds. Such as a baptism that involved adding words about Mother, Friend, etc. as if that didn’t change the contract. What a wonderful YouTube world we have. I doubt I’d be happy in your church. But, believing in the Apostles’ Creed, I looked for something extra. You’re not a monk. I bet you knew. The simplicity of your site is winning to me.For sure I’m broader-minded about the timeframe of creation. I suggest you let that whole thing go. None of it is about our details. I was at a baptism at an ELCA Lutheran church where the minister added “Mother, Friend..etc to the words. As if adding to a contract didn’t change it. But she, the minister, was prayerful and sure of the Holy Spirit. I differ. I don’t believe in re=writing the Lord’s Prayer to remove Father which happens in practice – or the avoidance of saying it. I love your site. I hope I love you. I’m seldome drunk anymore but tonight I am. Thank you for something calming and surprising – a gift each day – that helps.

  3. Gosh, I misspelled “seldom.” I looked for a few sites to add to my Bible reading with the Bible Project’s YouVersion Bible in a year since it’s time again and I like their videos. I sort of liked First15 but stopeed with them because they seemed to eager to sell their book. I’m likelier more indoors oriented than you. But I hear the owl and recognize some of the leaves. God bless you and your family. Please accept me as a follower of your ministry. Thanks.

    • Hi Fred. Thanks for your two notes. No worries about the misspelled word. I have made plenty of typos and grammar mistakes on this website over the years.

I welcome Catholics and Protestants to my site. It’s for all those who want to follow Jesus. I try not to get too deep in any one denominations doctrine. It’s not the point of the site. The point of the site it’s to encourage and inspire Christians in their walk with God and to help them draw near to Him.
