Psalm 89:5-6 and a Sunset, Mahoney State Park, Nebraska.
“The heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones. For who in the skies is comparable to the LORD? Who among the sons of the mighty is like the LORD.” Psalm 89:5-6
Heavens Praise, God’s Glorious Fireworks
Earlier this July Americans filled the skies with fireworks celebrating the 243 anniversary of our nation’s independence. As bright and mighty as those fireworks were, no fireworks light up the sky the way God lights up the sky. The heavens and the evening sky reflect His glory and therefore praises Him.
When we look at the sky we know there is something greater than us and we know there is something greater than the sky. As glorious as that evening sky is it cannot compare to God. Nothing in nature (and certainly nothing man made) shines brighter than the glory of God.
Praise God and read all of Psalm 89.
