O Come All Ye Faithful and Worship

Praise Jesus who came to earth to save us! I love how the old Christmas carols sing of His coming. The writers of these carols wrote lyrics rich with spiritual truths.

In the upcoming days, have a blessed Christmas Eve and Christmas! And as you celebrate these holidays with loved ones, remember the deep and true meaning of Christmas these well loved hymns sing of, such as “O Come All Ye Faithful.”

“O come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant.
Oh come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem;
Come and behold Him, born the King of angels;
O come let us adore him Christ the Lord.”

O Sing, choirs of angels,
Sing in exultation,
Sing all that hear in heaven God’s holy word.
Give to our Father glory in the Highest;

  1. Thanks Pat, I’ve come to really enjoy the richness and deep meaning contained in the lyrics of Christmas carols. Very meaningful, worshipful and spiritually enriching song lyrics in most of them and many can be sung as a prayer from the heart to the Lord. Love that.

    • Thanks John! I love the Christmas Hymns. As you wrote, they are very rich and deep. If people would only stop and think about the words. So many contain the Gospel message.
