Angels Heard on High
“Angels we have heard on high sweetly singing o’er the plains, and the mountains in reply echoing their joyous strains. Gloria, in excelsis Deo! Gloria, in excelsis Deo!” From Angels We Have Heard on High
God forgets no one. He does not leave out the outsider nor the elite. The angles announced Christ’s birth to the shepherds. But the lowly shepherds were not the only ones called to worship Christ, the rich wisemen also came. Rich and poor, all are called to worship Christ and sing with the angels.
