“Sing for joy, you heavens, for the LORD has done this; shout aloud, you earth beneath. Burst into song, you mountains, you forests and all your trees, for the LORD has redeemed Jacob, he displays his glory in Israel.” Isaiah 44:23

God’s Creation Sings for Joy

Many times the Bible uses Mountains and forest to illustrate God’s glorious workings and even the redemption of His people. Not only will God redeem believers, He will also redeem all of creation! Let our hearts join with nature and sing for joy to our Lord.

  1. Driving through our county every day I love the changes God produces–clouds billowing, birds flying across the fields, the faint hues of early sunrise–they are not elegant but they bring me joy. Thank you, God, for ordinary beauty.
