“My days are like a lengthened shadow, and I wither away like grass. But You, O LORD, abide forever, and Your name to all generations.” Psalms 102:11-12

The Stability of a Shadow

The Bible tell us God is good to us. Psalm 102 makes this clear. It contrasts the sinfulness and fallibility of human kind with the greatness and goodness of God. The Psalm also tells of God’s great mercy towards us despite our depravity. Our time on earth fades quickly like a shadow, as does our strength. We pass away quickly. God and everything about Him lasts forever. Rely on Him and Him alone. May He help us make the most of everyday.
