Psalm 46:10 and Rainbow Over a Mountain Wind Rivers Wilderness, Wyoming.
“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10.
Cease Striving and Rest
What a powerful thought to ponder. We can cease striving and find rest in God.
Psalm 46 of the Bible is a psalm about God being a place of refuge. It speaks of God’s great strength and that no matter what happens He is in control. He meets our needs and watches over us and He created the rainbow as a symbol of His holy promise. When we see one, it serves as reminder of His faithfulness.

“Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:25-26
God Gives us a New Heart
Our God is a forgiving and a renewing God. When we repent He removes from us a heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh. For I am a sinner in need of His forgiveness. I am saved by God’s grace and His grace alone. God made my heart new! God gives a new heart to anyone who asks. There is no heart He cannot change.
